Schweiger & Partners LLP focuses on Intellectual Property law and on related legal matters in Europe and in Asia.
At Schweiger & Partners LLP, we successfully combine technical and scientific know-how. The partners of the firm and a team of qualified associates and patent engineers make every effort to serve the needs of our clients based on a broad range of technical backgrounds and legal experience.
Our philosophy is to assist our clients in recognizing and exploiting Intellectual Property as a business asset which complements our clients' business objectives. We offer Intellectual Property services to fit the needs and budgets of all our clients, whether they be individual inventors or large corporations.
What makes the firm particularly attractive to clients and different from the majority of other European IP firms, is the fact that it is not only a filing and prosecution firm but also an litigation firm. The litigating attorneys-at-law form in-house teams with those of the patent attorneys who have the technical background required by the respective litigation case.
The firm handles patent, trademark and design model infringement, passing off and copyright matters. For our clients, we are constantly involved in intellectual property issues in Germany and in Singapore.
Our office in Singapore is located in the central business district of Singapore. It lies within walking distance to the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore.
Situated right at the Malacca Straits, Singapore has become one of the most important shipping harbors in the world. Singapore is therefore a perfect place for doing business in the whole of Asia. Singapore is the gateway to our IP Asia practice in China, Malaysia and Indonesia. Our presence in Singapore fosters our IP practice and business networks in Asia.
Our sister office Schweiger & Partner (www.marken-patente.de) in Munich, being known as the European center of Intellectual Property, was established in 1996. It is situated down-town near the Munich central station, within walking distance of the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. The German Federal Patent Court is also located in Munich.
Munich is one of the thriving German cities with growing economic strength and power in the fields of car industry, aviation, IT, microelectronics, and biotechnology.
In addition to prosecution and litigation matters, the firm covers all other IP related fields, including licensing and copyright, thereby bridging the gap between technology and law.
The firm is committed to providing quality service at reasonable fees. Clients acknowledge representation by the firm to be of the highest level of professional skill coupled with a high degree of responsiveness to management objectives.
